CSIWG is a platform for the forensic scientists and police officers to introduce the crime scene investigation in their respective countries, interact and exchange on casework learning points, discuss technology advancement and future developments in the area. Members have shared the status of crime scene investigation, including casework and current and future development in their respective countries. CSIWG has conducted training workshops on crime scene management, bloodstain pattern analysis, crime scene reconstruction and post-blast scene investigation for members and participants. Going forward, the CSIWG will be discussing and working on the standards and minimum requirements for crime scene investigation among the member institutes.
